We're seeking an experienced Data Operations Manager to join our Data team. This is a pivotal leadership role that will drive data excellence and team transformation within our mortgage servicing operations.

What does the team do in NextGen?

Our Data Operations team is the backbone of NextGen's mortgage servicing capabilities, collecting and validating critical product data that powers business decisions across lending, credit assessment, and customer servicing. The team works closely with development teams, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity and operational excellence.

What does this role do within the team?

As Data Operations Manager, you'll transform our data operations while leading team rehabilitation and performance improvement. You'll accelerate data collection cycles from monthly to weekly, establish robust quality assurance processes with our development partners, and provide technical leadership in complex servicing calculations and lending policy interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical oversight of mortgage servicing calculations, lending policies, and credit assessment methodologies
• Lead and rebuild the data team, establishing performance standards and accountability frameworks
• Partner with development teams to formalise data collection processes, including time-stamping and quality assurance

Essential Skills:

• Minimum 3 years mortgage, lending, or financial services experience with a deep understanding of home loan servicing calculations
• Proven team management experience with the ability to drive individual and team improvement
• Advanced Excel/spreadsheet modelling capabilities for complex financial calculations
