What is the role and what team does it sit within?

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Engineer to join our dynamic technology and operations team. In this essential role, you will collaborate with skilled engineers and operations professionals to ensure the seamless availability, reliability, and performance of our fintech platforms, which are trusted by leading financial institutions nationwide.

What does an Operations Engineer do within the team?

• Ensure reliability & performance by monitoring, maintaining, and optimising production environments.
• Drive automation for deployment, monitoring, incident response, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, support, and product teams to resolve challenges and improve delivery pipelines.
• Manage incidents & changes through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, upgrades, and controlled rollouts with minimal disruption.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Scripting experience with Powershell/Bash/Python (troubleshooting, adapting)
• Experience managing and maintaining Microsoft Windows Servers
• Experience managing and maintaining Linux servers
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, routing) and experience in troubleshooting networking issues
